    • PSC-06, Pivoting Side Chair, Upholstered

    This example has the earliest type of Eames fiberglass chair upholstery—a method of wrapping the upholstery around the edges with a concealed wire that holds the upholstery in place. PSC-06 stands for Pivoting Side (chair) Cast aluminum (base) 06 (upholstered).

    The Summit logo (an “S” inside a circle) and the Herman Miller logo and word mark are embossed on the underside of the shell. “309” is stamped in black ink.
