Fiberglass Side Shell

For Ray and Charles, design was an ongoing process, and the wide variety of colors in this exhibition is evidence of how actively engaged they were. In their lifetimes, no colors went into production without them first approving the samples.

The Summit logo (backward “B”, “A”, “S” inside a circle) and an embossed Herman Miller logo and word mark are on the underside of the shell.
