DSS-TA

The DSS-TA model was developed as Ray and Charles were finding a large market in schools and public spaces. The challenge was to design a table surface that wasn’t too big or too small and that could be easily moved to stand and sit. This design also used the ganging feature, so many of them could link together in orderly rows. DSS-TA stands for Dining (height) Side (chair) Stacking (base) with Tablet-Arm.

“Summit Prime” is stamped in black ink on the underside of the shell. The Herman Miller logo and word mark is embossed below.
