LKR-1

Charles Eames, Ray Eames

1958

The one-piece pad upholstery developed for the Wire Chair lent itself to standardized pattern production and was comfortable because of the thoughtful, supportive form of the chair. LKR-1 stands for Low (height) K-wire (chair) Rod (base) 1 (1-piece upholstered pad).
