DTM-10

The Eames Folding Leg Table system, introduced in 1949, included a dining table (seen here), a square-top card or extension table, and a smaller, lower Incidental Table.

Guided by their belief in making “the best for the most for the least amount of money,” Ray and Charles Eames designed for a broad, everyday audience. This table reflects that goal: lightweight yet sturdy, with a durable, stain-resistant plastic laminate top. Its folding legs allowed it to be shipped more efficiently—reducing costs since shipping is based on volume—and to be easily stored when not in use.
